Course organized by Expert Laser Center together with AALZ Germany and SFU – Vienna for dentists using laser technology, regardless of the wavelength of the laser in the office.
The course is held by Prof. Rene Franzen from Aachen University. This is a mandatory certification for laser users, at European level, recognized at European & USA level.
+ The purpose of this course:
- Evaluation of different optical classification models of light
- Knowledge of physical principles and their implementation in laser system
- Understanding the principles associated with laser applications specific to a wavelength
- The ability to use dental lasers correctly from a clinical point of view
- Safe and responsible use of lasers
- Laser applications (depending on the wavelength)
+ Physics module with LSO certification
- Laser physics and laser safety
- Laser functions – clinical indications
- Notions of biophysics (different absorption and transmission tissue types)
Upon successful completion of this course you will receive Laser Safety Officer certification (AALZ Germany)
COSTS: 600€
This workshop is an integrated part of the “Mastership Lasers in Dentistry” curriculum, provided by AALZ via Sigmund Freud Vienna University.
If you attend the minimum of LSO plus 4 modules of laser-workshops at your choice, you qualify for the “Case – Presentation & Final Examination” module in S.F. Vienna University, where you will graduate as Mastership in Laser Dentistry.
